01 DISCOVERY

After reading the brief we did the first atelier with the clients to know which are the main uses of the app food they want to develop so we can after realizing a survey with the employees if we agree with what we should do or not

MY ROLE CONCEPT & UX DESIGNER  

CONTEXT ORANGE

DATE NOVEMBER 2018

INTRODUCTION

Orange Food App it's a service app made for employees of orange so they can know how to book a room to eat and know their menus of the day and other things so the employee can have a better experience with Orange.

For this project, we needed to work closely with Orange and the users to know what's needed always with the constraints of the the system Orange

03 MAPPING FUNCTIONALITIES

We wanted to make sure we understand until where we can go with this product since we aren't the ones developing the code we need to know the constraints the system has, compared to the user needs.

So I created a mapping functionalities on how difficult a feature can be accomplished and the urgency of the user needs

We delivered some visual benchmarks so the client can visualize easily what kind of functionalities we are talking about and what's important

04 PERSONA & USERFLOW

I decided to make two user personas with all the informations we gather with the plus of adding the user flow to get a grasp of the different needs and pain points of each user

05 FLOWCHART

With the construction of this flowchart, we could determine the decisions of the user in the flow, the data, and the pages within all the applications. This helps a lot the developers who will build the product at Orange 

06 SITEMAP

With the construction of the sitemap, we determine the pages and templates for our app. I added the functionalities in minor so it would help me when I would start the sketching paper and wireframing.

07 WIREFRAMES

With the sitemap done I started doing all the wireframes in total it was more than 30 pages with the explanation of micro-interactions while signing up and onboarding.

08 VISUAL DESIGN

In the end, I delivered all the wireframes to my colleague Emilie so she could add the visual design in the frame

CONCLUSION

With all a good project in the end even if we had a few more constraints about the product that we would like, some functionalities like the reservation of the room and seeing the menu live with influence wasn't possible for the moment so we ended up with an app just only to charge your Orange card and menu of the day depending on your location. The client was happy and the customers we need more time to have some feedback since we couldn't sell some user testing for the MVP. Thanks to Clément my manager we struggled to make this happen! :)
